It creates a more democratic environment where all learning participants are collaborating, rather than the ‘sage on the stage’ or the ‘stand and deliver’ didactic teaching style, so popular in the Victorian era, that tends to create a ‘them and us’ dynamic. It’s a good first step to a more progressive style of teaching and learning.
The Dash Teacher Console is designed so your laptop is at the right height to use your Dash as a standing desk to work at, or use a height-adjustable Turn & Learn if you want to sit or perch for a while. You’ll probably still need to be at the front if you have a fixed presentation screen that you need to physically connect to, but the smaller footprint of the Dash still dramatically reduces the barrier between teacher and students.
Integrated storage means there is still space for files, resources (and snacks) in various combinations depending on your storage requirements. You get two trays as standard, you can add more if you wish and the top tray is lockable.
